Faith Formation

“Faith’s past, that act of Jesus’ love which brought new life to the world, comes down to us through the memory of others — witnesses — and is kept alive in that one remembering subject which is the Church. The Church is a Mother who teaches us to speak the language of faith.”

Pope Francis, LUMEN FIDEI

Lifelong Faith Formation: Growing in Faith Together

Our parish is excited to introduce a renewed approach to Faith Formation for the 2026–2027 year, an invitation to all parishioners to grow in faith with a special focus on supporting families.

Faith is not something we learn once; it is something we live, practice, and grow over time. Research and experience both show that the most lasting faith is formed at home, through everyday moments, conversations, and shared experiences. Because of this, our program supports parents as the primary teachers of the faith, while equipping children with a strong and joyful foundation.

What makes this program different?

  • Children take part in Sacramental Preparation or Gospel Weeklies while parents and other adults of the parish gather for formation

  • Adult sessions are designed to truly form and strengthen your own faith, not just support your child’s program

  • One Sunday schedule: Mass and formation together in the same morning

  • Children see their parents engaged in faith, not just sending them to learn it

All adults of the parish are welcome to participate, whether or not they have children enrolled in the program.

You do not need to be an expert in theology to participate. You simply need a willingness to take the next step. We will provide the tools, structure, and guidance to support you.

This is not about adding more to your schedule. This is about making faith a natural and meaningful part of your everyday life.

Jesus…said to [the disciples], “Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

(Mk 10:14, NAB)
